Another year, the Sevillian Multiple Sclerosis Association, organizes this solidarity race to raise funds for the cause.
Sponsorship is provided by the multinational pharmaceutical company Novartis in collaboration with various organizations such as the Municipal Sports Institute, Obra social la caixa, Cruzcampo Foundation and Cruz roja among many others.
‘Muévete por la Esclerosis Múltiple’ solidarity race
The race will take place on 18 November in the surroundings of the Alamillo Park and there will be different categories according to age:
Up to 10 years old: Prebenjamín 300 metres.
From 10 to 11 years old: Benjamin 850 metres.
From 12 to 13 years old: Alevín 1,540 metres.
From 14 to 15 years: Cadet 2,520 meters.
From 16 to 35 years: Senior 7,000 meters.
Between 36 and 50 years: Veteran A 7,000 meters.
From 51 years: Veteran B 7,000 meters.
The race will start at 11:00 in the morning and both the place of the finish and the start will be the same, Cortijo del Parque del Alamillo.
Entries can be processed through the website until 15:00 hours on November 17 (http://www.corredorespopulares.es/inscripcion/esclerosis/index.php) and there will be a total of 3,000 numbers available (1000 in the categories of children). The registration fee for adults will be 8€ and 3€ for minors. There is the possibility of acquiring the so-called “Dorsal 0”. This number is merely symbolic, as it does not give the right to run as it is a complete donation to the association.
The numbers can be collected at the headquarters of the Sevillian Multiple Sclerosis Association, Avda. Altamira, 29, local, on 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 November from 9:30 to 13:30 and 16:00 to 20:00 h.
It is also possible to pick it up on the day of the race from 09:00 to 10:00 in the Cortijo.
