APRIL FAIR OF SEVILLE 2019

The origin of the April Fair in Seville dates back to 1846, when they organized a fair for the sale of livestock in the month of April in Seville. A year later, on April 18, 1847, the first Fair was inaugurated in the Prado de San Sebastián. This was approved by Queen Elizabeth II.

The April Fair of Seville 2019 will have 450,000 square meters. The Seville fairgrounds located in the neighborhood of Los Remedios, is made up of Real de la Feria, Calle del Infierno and the parking area.

The Real de la Feria de Sevilla has its street map, each of its streets has its own name, the name of a Sevillian bullfighter, Curro Romero, Juan Belmonte, Bombita are some of them.

There are around more than 1,000 booths at the fair, most are private, families or companies that pay their annual fee; but there are also public ones, which belong to political parties and unions, as well as a stand especially dedicated to tourists.
