On May 24, 25 and 26 the comedy "Arte" by Yasmina Reza is performed at the Lope de Vega Theate in Seville.
The work of a living author most represented in the history of theater comes to Seville to delight the public once again.
Premiered on October 28, 1994 at the Theater des Champs-Élysées in Paris (France), it won the Moliere Prize for best production, best show and best author. The work has been staged in 140 countries and has been translated into 40 languages.
Directed by Miguel del Arco, 'Arte' tells the story of three friends since adolescence who are involved in an artistic conflict.
Sergio has bought (what he says is) a sublime work of contemporary art but the problem is that his friend Marcos only sees a blank canvas. On the other hand, Ivan is too tolerant and agrees with them two.
Marcos cannot bear Sergio, Sergio cannot bear Marco and both cannot continue to endure that Ivan remains impartial.
With this work the French author exposes through laughter human relationships and questions friendship, art and the subjective.
The performances with duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes will begin daily at 8:30 p.m.
Ticket price varies between € 7.50 and € 21 and can be purchased through the Theater website.
