The 1st International Congress on Gender and Health will take place in Seville on 16 and 17 November 2017.
This Congress intends to deepen and contribute knowledge about the structural inequalities that cause the impairment in women’s health. As well as in the detection and approach of mistreatment against women, from medical consultations and nursing.
It is proposed as a meeting and learning place for people who, investigating issues related to women’s health and the impact of violence on health, want to share their experiences and present the results of their research.
It has two face-to-face and virtual modalities, the face-to-face modality has a limited enrollment of 150 professionals and 80 places for undergraduate, masters and doctorate students at the University of Seville (USE). The term will be closed once the reserved places are covered.
The virtual modality will be accessible from the platform of the congress and will allow the direct monitoring of the conferences that will be recorded and retransmitted, and will also allow access to scientific communications and posters presented during the congress days.
The conferences, scientific communications, panels and papers presented will be published in the Book of Proceedings of the Congress published in digital version, as a means of disseminating the research carried out.
