The 21st cakes of the convents of Seville exhibition held from 5 to 7 December 2015 in the Palace Gothic of the Real Alcazar of Seville.
This new edition features the participation of twenty-one convents of Seville and other thirteen provinces. The sisters go on sale of homemade artisanal sweets.

Selling sweets from convents has become a tradition with the celebration of the holiday season. Although convents have to sale their products throughout the year, if it is true that it is at this time when more consumed. For the religious, the sale of these products is important financial support for convents and thus the costs arising from its activity and the conservation of their monasteries.
The sweets made by the nuns are ancestral recipes of traditional production with high quality natural products. In this sample, the convents will be their specialties as: doughnuts of wines, Santa Clara yolks, mille-feuille, jams, cookies, pies or traditional polvorones.
The exhibition will have an uninterrupted schedule of 10 to 19 hours.
