Combats of gladiators in SevilleCombats of gladiators in Seville. Next Saturday  20th June, will take place in the Amphitheater of the archaeological site Italica, in Santiponce, a gladiatorial combat performance.

The Gladiators will be represented by the Association of Hispanic Roman, and while they recreate the fighting, they will explain how was the world of gladiators in the ancient Rome. This free activity will start at eleven in the morning and is within the framework of activities for the Festival of historical reenactment.

Italics and Publio Cornelio

Italica was founded by Publio Cornelio Escipión in 206 a. C and it was where the lineage of Emperors Trajan and Adriano settled, is an archaeological site where today we can find the ruins of an ancient Roman city, declared a national monument, which was located in Santiponce.
