I asked for a different room, not available, so had to put up with it for two nights. The receptionist gave me a can of air-freshener.

Noisy ventilation / air-conditioning

I was supposed to have a room with a view. The view was into a facility area.

Poor WiFi in the room.

Thin walls, you hear everything (reading the reviews, I had earplugs ready). I cannot imagine staying in one of the ground floor rooms, which are right next to the lobby / reception.

Overall: a very poor value for money and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent value for money - We didn't expect too much from a 1* hotel, but we were impressed by the reception, the kindness and helpfulness of the staff and the overall service they provided. The... read more hotel is also at an excellent location, close tourist attractions and lots of bars and restaurants, while still on a relatively quiet location. Also despite a winter visit when it was below 10 outside the room was still warm.
The only negative comment I can have is that the walls are not very thick and the windows don't insulate too much the noise either, but as I said it's generally in a quiet area and our neighbors weren't noisy so this actually didn't cause any disturbance for us, but I imagine that it can be a slightly bothersome for some. Also don't expect a lot of space in the rooms, but I wouldn't expect it from a place like this anyway.
It was an excellent value for money and for not a lot of money...

En apariencia y por las fotografías que muestra el Hotel Europa pareciera ser hasta de... read more dos o tres estrellas, sin embargo ya cuando uno presencia y habita el hotel la perspectiva cambia, no deja de ser una excelente opción en cuanto a hospedaje se trata, pues por su localización es un hotel económico y céntrico, aunque es necesario que sigan trabajando para mejorar entre otras cosas la decoración de las habitaciones, las cerraduras y un poco los colchones.
Debo admitir que pase una excelente estancia en el Hotel Europa, a pesar de estar en un fin de semana de temporada alta, el costo de la habitación fue de lo mejor. También debo resaltar la amabilidad y el buen servicio de todo el personal del hotel, que su ayuda y sus respuestas a todo lo que se les solicitó y preguntó fueron solucionadas y siempre con una sonrisa y amabilidad, todo mi reconocimiento a ellos, sobre todo a las chicas y a al señor de recepción.
En cuanto a la limpieza no tengo ninguna queja, la habitación desde que llegamos estuvo impecable de limpio.
