The concert will take place on Friday, October 18, 2019 in Seville.
With five albums released and four Latin Grammy nominations, María Toledo has become an icon of flamenco. She is the first female composer, singer and Spanish pianist in the history of flamenco who sings accompanying herself to the piano. In addition, she is one of the artists who most respects the jondo tradition.
After three years of silence, María Toledo presents her last and fifth album called "Corazonada", which is made up of 13 songs plus a big band version composed entirely by the artist, where she talks about love in all its forms.
The album talks about the unexpectedness of love, which appears and disappears when you least expect it, from affection to the family or from the imaginary feeling of being pregnant. The King of the Furtive, the first single of this album, talks about the forbidden that sometimes is usually attractive.
The artist will perform live at the Cartuja Center Cite in Seville on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 9:00 p.m. The price of tickets ranges from 18 to 45 euros and can be purchased on the official website of the Cartuja Center.
