The Flamenco Ballet of Andalusia presents its show called ‘Flamencolorquiano’ at the 20th edition of the Flamenco Biennial held in Seville.
BALLET FLAMENCO DE ANDALUCÍA
The Andalusian Flamenco Ballet belongs to the Andalusian Institute of Flamenco of the Junta de Andalucía and is the maximum institutional representative of flamenco art. It has become a national and international reference company, reaping important achievements such as the National Choreography Award, among others.
With this ‘Flamencolorquiano’ tribute is paid to Federico García Lorca and will sing the songs that inspired the artist or those we find in his works. With this, it is intended that viewers travel to the roots of flamenco itself, dancing cantes por seguiriyas, fandangos, peasant cantes, bulerías, tangos, romances alegrías and soleares, among other ‘palos’, which will be sung with texts by Federico.
Place and price
The event will take place on Monday, September 24 at the Teatro de la Maestranza at 8:30 p.m., with the doors opening half an hour before.
The price is between 22 and 40 euros per ticket and can be purchased on the official website of the Seville Flamenco Biennial.
