The Plaza de Doña Elvira, is one of the enclaves of reference for tourists who want to know the Barrio de Santa Cruz. In Seville popular legend says that in that place was the house of Don Gonzalo de Ulloa, father of Donna Elvira, Don Juan Tenorio by Zorrilla.

It is this space who takes his name in literature, elegant tiles and orange trees, a fountain with seats bricks and tiles, where formerly was used as Corral of Comedies and rumors that it’s impossible love of Don Juan Tenorio was born by the legendary Doña Inés de Ulloa, so says one of the tiles in the square.
