The XVI Christmas craft market held in Seville from 15 December to 05 January in Plaza Nueva.
Artisanal Seville Federation, is the promoter of this Christmas market, that every year is held during the arrival of Christmas. This Federation, created in 1993 as a business and artisans organization non-profit, has as a main goal, give to know Seville craftsmanship and value, as well as foster their growth.
Christmas craft market
This market has an approximately around 70 posts of crafts, including textiles, ceramics and jewelry. It is of vital importance, mentioning that not only it is a common market, as intended by the same is no longer only to secure the sale of artisan products of Seville, but trying to ensure the continuation of several trades of artisanal and cultural nature, thus preventing their extinction. It is also quote, that the market puts on sale and available to consumers, artisan pieces of unique value, which are not available for sale to the wholesale, as they are drawn up by the artisans who hold different positions.
Christmas craft market hours will be:
-Morning and afternoon: from 11:00 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 21:00. On December 25 and January 1, and evenings of 24 and 31 December the market will be closed.
-Place: Plaza Nueva, a few metres from the Seville City Hall.
