Over the past year 2013 has registered a growth of cultural tourism in Andalucia including Sevilla. This 8% growth over previous years represents 6.7 million visits per year throughout the region.
Cultural tourism stands out as the main motivation for visiting Andalucía, to spend their vacation knowing the sights and customs of this land. It is estimated that generates about 3000 million.

Most tourists are of Spanish origin, 69.5%, and especially in Andalusia, Madrid and Catalonia. As foreign tourists, predominantly those of European origin.
