by | Jan 1, 2018 | ENGLISH | 0 comments

The exhibition will be open to the public until next January 13 at the archaeological site and with free admission.

Film exhibition

It is an exhibition of photographs, in which you can see the relationship of the archaeological complex with the different audiovisual productions.

Everything started with Plácido Domingo filming his tribute to Seville in the galleries of the amphitheater in 1981, where the tenor sang a Fidelio characterized as the Prisoner Florestán. Later, in 1985, Itálica hosted the filming of several sequences of the Dardanelles series, starring Omar Sharif and Ava Gardner. Recently, there has been the filming of the series La Peste and the short film Amanecer in 2017. But it has been with the well-known Game of Thrones series in 2017 when the vision of the monument has multiplied as an ideal place for filming movies and series.

The exhibition is divided into two spaces and there will be exhibited a selection of photographs taken during these film shoots developed in the Roman site. One of the spaces is inside that is located inside the entrance building on the left; and another exterior inside the Roman amphitheater.

If you are a fan of these series and want to get into their world, do not hesitate and book your stay at Hotel Europa Boutique. You can find better prices and offers on our website.
