On 31 July opens the new AVE line that unites Seville and Alicante and will be underway during the entire month of August. The line will work three days a week: Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
RENFE will operate this new line in order to meet the emerging demand for this type of bullet trains during holiday periods.
AVE Sevilla – Alicante
The public Spanish railway company is committed to expanding the lines of high-speed trains, connecting cities to long distance within a few hours. Since 1992 which opened the first line of high speed between Seville and Madrid in little more than two hours of travel, have expanded in number of tours.
This time the bird join Seville and Alicante on a tour with stops at the stations of Villena, Albacete, Ciudad Real, Puertollano.
The timetable of the tours will be two: departure from Sevilla days of operation of the line to the 9.10 hours completing the trip to Alicante in 4 hours and 39 minutes, while the reverse route with departure from Alicante will be at 4 p.m. and the estimated time to complete the tour is 4 hours and 42 minutes.
Rates available for classes are tourist and tourist plus with prices ranging from 38 to 114 euros per trip.
The implementation of this new line is an improvement in infrastructures of communication between Sevilla and levante Spanish offering a convenient and fast service to those visitors who wish to take the train as a means of transportation to visit the city.
