It has been signed an agreement between Turespaña and Cooperation Network of Cities on the Route de la Plata in order to establish a partnership structure for marketing actions aimed at strengthening the position in the international market for tourism destinations and related products with Via de la Plata Route, paying particular attention to the cultural, gastronomic and nature care products.
The priority markets for the implementation of the actions are Portugal, France, Germany and the UK, among the most important; but without neglecting other which may be potential.
Silver Route
The Ruta de la Plata has several World Heritage cities and its route runs for four regions and seven provinces in a north-south 800 miles that has existed since ancient times and was used by tartesos axis, Romans, Arabs and Christians.
