Seville European Film Festival presents its 12th Edition, which will take place in the capital of Seville on 6 and 14 November 2015. In this Edition, Sevilla is again of disseminating and promoting European cinema, where will be announced the names of the nominees to the award of the European Film Academy.
The festival consists of two main axes, whose objective is to provide a complete view of contemporary European cinema:
-A shaft composed of several sections such as: feature films, short films, documentaries and film of non-fiction.
-The other main axis is composed of special screenings, tributes and retrospectives.
European Film Festival 2015 in Seville
This festival features the participation of numerous talents of the journalistic cast, characters specialized in the sector as well as a large number of European cinema talents. Places for this event are the cinemas South of Nervión, the Alameda theatre and the Teatro Lope de Vega.
Here we offer a preview of the Festival’s program:
-Official section: This section is an overview of the best cinema of contemporary author of the year.
-New wave non-fiction: This section shows the contemporary, open and refreshing character of the Festival, as well as the unlimited possibilities of the film’s non-fiction.
-Resistance: A commitment to the new Spanish cinema featuring Prize awarded by a jury of FIPRESCI.
-EFA selection: Film prenominadas to the European Film Academy Awards.
-Europe Junior: cinema dedicated to young people and families.
