The work “China doll” will premiere in Seville in 25 February 2016. The venue is the Teatro Lope de Vega to the days of 25, 26 and 27 February will host the national presentation of the work.
“China doll” is the Spanish version of the China Doll written by David Mamet and starring work by Al Pacino in the United States. This time it comes to Seville to make its debut at the national level and will continue to do other Spanish as Madrid, Logroño or Pamplona city tour.
The work is a contemporary drama that premiered last November 19, 2015 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in New York and starred by Al Pacino for whom Mamet had created the work. The same Al Pacino said have felt delighted to represent it because it is a written work thinking of him as the protagonist.
The Spanish version will be starred by José Sacristan and Javier Godino. The direction will be in charge of Juan Carlos Rubio and production will be in charge Theater TalyCual and Bravo theatre.
Tickets are on sale online and at the box office of the theatre at a price between 4 and 21 euros.
