The 16th Congress of the Spanish Association of remote sensing (AET) has as a motto: “remote sensing. Wetlands and protected areas. The purpose of this 16th edition is to promote the encounter between the teledetectora academic and business community and those responsible for the management of protected areas, with particular emphasis on wetlands.
The scientific program of the Congress will take place during days 21 to October 23, 2015, that communications with the following topics will be presented: agriculture, atmosphere, forests, cartography and GIS, conservation and protected areas, covers and uses of soil, dissemination and training, emergencies and natural disasters, invasive species, Espectroradiometria, photogrammetry, geology and Edaphology, hyperspectral, wetlands and water resources, forest fires, instrumentation, LiDAR, meteorology and weather, methodology, oceanography and marine resources, processed data, SAR, monitoring of natural processes, security and defence and UAVs.
Communications of the Congress will be divided between several of the buildings of the Ibero-American exhibition of 1929, close to the Parque de María Luisa (Peru Pavilion, Pavilion of Uruguay) where the scientific program will be developed.
The social activities related to the Congress will be held in the city of Seville, declared by UNESCO World Heritage of the humanity. There will be a cocktail reception and a guided visit to the Reales Alcazares of Seville. A visit to the Natural area of Donana.esta planned a visit to the Doñana Natural space is also planned.
