El Puente de Isabel II, also known as the Puente de Triana.
Was built between 1845 and 1852 by two French engineers to replace the old bridge of boats that joined for centuries the ancient Castillo de San Jorge (Triana) with area Arenal (Sevilla) and that the motive was simply to try to solve the usual flood of the river and whose company was undertaken during the reign of Isabel II and was the first permanent bridge in the city.
